| Other Info | Most of us know Mark Twain for Huckleberry Finn, Tom Sawyer, and The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County. But there is so much more. As I was reading Twain to prepare this program, I found wonderful pieces that were “undone” – that is, stories that intentionally have no ending or stories that are rarely “done”, they are all delightful, quirky Twain. Hence, ‘Mark Twain – Undone’. MARK TWAIN – UNDONE will feature… “John Brown and Mary Taylor” read by David Fenner “Medieval Romance” read by Amy Biedel “Jim Blaine and His Grandfather’s Ram” read by Albert Dayan “The Albert Memorial” read by Walter Ritter “From an Unfinished Burlesque of Books on Etiquette” read by David Fenner “Aurelia’s Unfortunate Young Man” read by Veronica Murphy “A Cat Tale” read by Walter Ritter, Amy Biedel, and Veronica Murphy |
…wish I could be there;alas.
You led me back to my leatherbound bedside book, Mark Twain: Selected Works, and will re-read, “(Burlesque) Autobiography.”
